Personal History:

  • Born in Montreal, Quebec
  • Speak both Canada official languages
  • Childhood spent in the outdoors, fishing and exploring nature around Quebec.
  • Currently residing in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

 

Personal Hobbies:

  • Hunting, trapping and fishing.
  • Bush craft
  • Back country canoeing, boating and camping.
  • Hiking, snowshoeing and mountain biking.
  • Quading.
  • Carpentry

 

Professional History:

  • Became a full member of the Canadian Military as a Vehicle Technician, land, at the age of 23.
  • Served in Petawawa, Yellowknife, and Winnipeg
  • Served in South East Asia
  • In 2013, began instructing at the Canadian Forces School of Survival and Aero medical Training (CFSSAT) as a Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) instructor.

Professional Instruction Experience:

  • 4 years basic and advanced survival instructor at CFSSAT
  • Guest Instructor Chilean FACH, Chile, 2014
  • Guest Instructor at French Guyana jungle course, 2015
  • Guest instructor at NATO winter survival course in Telemark, Norway, 2016
  • Instructor for NATO aircrew winter survival course in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. 2014,2015
  • Numerous mobile teaching teams (MTT’s) for air crew pre-deployment briefings and exercises prior to going overseas.
